In late April 2025, Asia Pulp & Paper (APS) was invited to participate in the “2025 Corporate Social Responsibility Survey Questionnaire for Manufacturing Enterprises” initiated by the Southern Weekly China Corporate Social Responsibility Research Center. The survey covered aspects such as corporate economic performance, fair operation, products and services, environmental protection, employee responsibility, community welfare, and responsible governance. Based on objective facts, various departments of APS’ Shandong, Guangdong, Jiangsu, and Jiujiang factories actively cooperated and coordinated, repeatedly verifying data, and ultimately achieved an excellent ranking of 15th out of 620 surveyed companies and 300 finalists.

The China Corporate Social Responsibility Survey, initiated by Southern Weekly in 2003 in conjunction with several other organizations, has been conducted continuously for 22 years, becoming one of the earliest, longest-running, and most influential surveys in the industry. The Southern Weekly China Corporate Social Responsibility Research Center observes and evaluates the corporate social responsibility performance of nearly 700 companies annually during the survey and publishes related research, promoting public awareness and action regarding corporate social responsibility.
